4. Service Bookings and Appointments

4.1 Booking Process

Services can be booked through our website, by email, or by telephone. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by SteadyContext.

4.2 Deposits

For certain services, including but not limited to bridal makeup and group workshops, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be clearly communicated during the booking process.

4.3 Appointment Confirmation

All appointments will be confirmed by email. It is your responsibility to check that all details are correct. Please contact us immediately if any information is incorrect.

4.4 Late Arrival

If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you, but your service may need to be shortened or rescheduled, and the full service fee will still apply.

4.5 Cancellation by Client

Cancellation policies vary by service type:

• Standard Services: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment time may incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service price.
• Bridal Services: Cancellations of bridal makeup services made less than 14 days before the wedding date will forfeit the full deposit.
• Group Workshops: Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop date will forfeit the full deposit.

4.6 Cancellation by SteadyContext

In the rare event that we need to cancel your appointment, we will attempt to notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule your appointment or provide a full refund of any deposits paid.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect confirmed bookings.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment by credit/debit card, bank transfer, and cash (for in-person services only). All payments must be made in full at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.

5.3 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

• Travel expenses for on-location services
• Additional time required beyond the scheduled appointment
• Special products requested by the client
• Service on public holidays

Any additional charges will be discussed and agreed upon before services are provided.

6. User Conduct and Site Rules

6.1 General Conduct

When using our services or interacting with our staff, you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and professional manner. Harassment, abusive language, or inappropriate behavior toward our staff or other clients will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services without refund.

6.2 Health and Safety

You agree to inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, or other health concerns that might affect the provision of our services. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe providing the service might pose a health risk to you or our staff.

6.3 Comment and Review Policy

If our website allows users to post comments or reviews, you agree that:

While we strive to provide the highest quality service, we cannot guarantee specific results. The final outcome of makeup applications may vary based on individual facial features, skin conditions, and environmental factors.

8.2 Allergic Reactions

Despite our use of professional-grade products, allergic reactions can occur. We are not responsible for allergic reactions to products used during our services unless you have explicitly informed us of known allergies prior to service provision.

8.3 Personal Property

SteadyContext is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during your appointment, whether at our studio or at on-location services.

8.4 Website Access

We do not guarantee that our website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs, and platform to access our website. You should use your own virus protection software.

8.5 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SteadyContext shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the services
• Any content obtained from the services
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid us during the 3-month period prior to the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SteadyContext, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site or Services, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Site or Services after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Site or Services.
